Job Purpose
As a Customer Service and Sales Support Specialist, you will handle inbound and outbound interactions with the independent sales force, customers, and consumers across various channels. These include telephones, email, web chat, and social media, in both Spanish and English. Your role is vital in representing the Company positively, maintaining goodwill, and actively delivering Golden Rule Service. You will also participate in Company meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new promotions, products, and systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound conversations with the sales force and consumers via phone, email, web chat, and social media.
- Perform basic customer service functions such as password resets, order tracking, resolution of order and agreement issues, and shipment fulfillment or replacements.
- Exercise good judgment in taking appropriate actions, seeking guidance when needed, and documenting all interactions accurately. Follow-up on outstanding contacts diligently.
- Participate in company meetings, trainings, and utilize various resources like work instructions, bulletins, publications, email communications, promotion briefs, and InfoHub updates to stay informed.
- Achieve departmental productivity and quality goals while fostering a culture of teamwork to meet shared objectives.
- Support additional projects or duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent 🎓
- Experience: 2-4 years in customer service 🗣️
- Language skills: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (written and verbal) is required 🇪🇸
- Strong organizational and time management skills ⏰
- Proficient knowledge of computer hardware, software, and office equipment 💻
- Flexible, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement 🔄
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to analyze various situations 🧠
- Ability to interpret and quickly recall work instructions and information to perform multiple service functions effectively 🔑
- This position requires on-site work at the Mary Kay Corporate Headquarters in Addison, Texas 🏢
