We’re looking for bilingual (Spanish/English) Customer Service Representatives who are dedicated, detail-oriented, and eager to make a difference—all from the comfort of your home.
What You’ll Do 📝
- Assist student loan borrowers with account inquiries, repayment options, and application processes
- Handle inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment
- Provide accurate, professional, and empathetic customer support
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, company policies, and data security standards
- Meet key performance indicators and quality assurance standards
Qualifications ✅
- U.S. Citizenship
- Fluency in Spanish and English — primarily takes calls from Spanish-speaking customers
- High School diploma or GED
- 6+ months of customer service experience in a business, non-retail, or call center setting
- 6+ months of computer experience in a professional environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust (5c) security clearance (financial/credit background check required)
- Not in default on federal student loans
- Demonstrated financial responsibility
- No felony convictions within the past 7 years
- Misdemeanor convictions within the past 7 years may impact eligibility
- No non-medical collections exceeding $7,500
Preferred Skills 🌟
- Prior call center experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
Technical & Availability Requirements 🖥️
- Reliable high-speed wired internet connection (no Wi-Fi)
- Reliable transportation for pre-employment visits and on-site requirements
- Pass an online customer service assessment
- Quiet, private home workspace with no interruptions during work hours
- Availability for shifts during Contact Center hours:
- Monday: 7am - 10pm CST
- Tuesday - Friday: 7am - 7pm CST
- Saturday: 9am - 1pm CST
Training & Compensation 💰
Training lasts up to 6 weeks, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST, paid remotely. Compensation includes:
- Base Pay: $17.75/hour
- Health & Welfare Pay: Additional $4.93/hour (up to 40 hrs/week)
