Job Summary and Responsibilities
Customer Service Representative (Bilingual)
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative (Bilingual) to support our growing team in managing the Medicare Appeal process. This role involves answering incoming calls, resolving customer inquiries, complaints, and requests while adhering to internal policies and utilizing knowledge of our services to meet quality and productivity standards.
Work Environment & Schedule
🚀 This position is remote.
Shifts will be scheduled within our operating hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. ET
- Weekends & Holidays: 9:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. ET
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and services.
- Utilize automated systems for logging and retrieving information, including electronic faxes.
- Handle inquiries from customers or providers via phone, email, fax, or mail, ensuring timely responses.
- Respond to calls and complaints promptly and courteously, following standard operating procedures.
- Communicate with hospitals, physicians, beneficiaries, and program recipients effectively.
- Investigate and resolve or escalate customer issues appropriately.
- Meet or surpass call volume and service level standards.
- Initiate and maintain demographic, provider, and procedure files with accurate data entry.
- Serve as a liaison between Review Supervisors and external providers.
- Maintain logs and document dispositions of all calls and interactions.
- Adhere strictly to all corporate policies, including HIPAA Privacy and Security rules.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to research and resolve Medicaid program and service eligibility issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Familiarity with the health insurance industry.
- Effective verbal and listening skills.
- Knowledge of CPT and HCPCS codes (preferred).
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (a plus).

Compensation 💰
The starting pay range for this position is:
USD $17.20 per hour
Compensation will depend on experience, skills, and other considerations in line with our compensation philosophy.
