Overview

As a Bilingual Mandarin Member Services Representative, you will assist members with a variety of healthcare questions and needs within a fast-paced managed care setting. This hybrid role combines remote and in-office work in New York City, ideal for those passionate about helping patients navigate their benefits and healthcare services.

Responsibilities

  • 📞 Handle inbound and outbound member service calls in both Mandarin and English
  • 💬 Assist members with benefit questions, eligibility, authorizations, claims, and provider information
  • 📝 Document all member interactions accurately within internal systems
  • 🤝 Resolve member concerns professionally while ensuring a positive customer experience
  • 🔄 Coordinate with internal departments for timely issue resolution
  • 🎓 Educate members on healthcare plans, managed care programs, and available resources
  • 🔐 Maintain compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
  • 🎯 Meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics

Requirements

  • 🌐 Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
  • 💼 Previous healthcare customer service or call center experience required
  • 🏥 Experience in managed care, Medicare, or Medicaid preferred
  • 🗣 Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • 💻 Comfortable working in a high-volume call center environment
  • 🖥 Proficiency with computer systems and documentation tools
  • 🔧 Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred
  • 🎓 High school diploma or equivalent required
