The Role: Remote Customer Service Advisor 💻
Do you love connecting with people and listening to their needs? If so, NCD has an excellent opportunity for a remote Customer Service Advisor. In this role, you'll provide top-tier phone support and assistance to our valued members — all from the comfort of your home.
This position:
- Is 100% remote, requiring a dedicated workspace free from distractions
- Includes 2-4 weeks of paid remote training
- Provides all necessary equipment
Essential Duties & Responsibilities 🎯
- Handle inbound and outbound communication with members and providers
- Engage with clients via phone, email, and chat channels
- Review member products, answer questions about policies, coverage, and transactions
- Refer new enrollments or changes to licensed agents
- Address billing or service complaints; escalate issues as needed
- Document all interactions accurately in CRM software
- Maintain current knowledge of all company products and services
- Educate members on managing their health and maximizing benefits
- Build trust and improve member retention throughout the healthcare lifecycle
- Meet performance goals and KPIs related to call quality, member satisfaction, and productivity
- Participate in team meetings, training, and skill-building sessions
Qualifications & Skills ✅
- 2+ years of customer service or call center experience
- College degree preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Ability to multitask effectively across multiple platforms
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are a plus — bilingual employees receive additional pay
