Position Details

• Position: Customer Care Advocate
• Location: Milwaukee, WI - HQ
• Remote Type: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Position Overview

This vital role supports our OEM and distribution customers by handling routine calls and inquiries from customers and field sales representatives. You will process orders, provide guidance on pricing, delivery timelines, terms, policies, credits/debits, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily account management tasks, including responding to emails and phone inquiries 📞
• Process customer orders and claims
• Complete daily reports and research credit/debit adjustments
• Assist in writing departmental SOPs and work instructions, coaching other CSR team members
• Triaging and processing customer orders with systems like CRM, Oracle, OTIS, DDM, Excel, Word, PPT, and O365
• Provide customers with relevant documents such as policies, forms, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, etc.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions
• Participate in daily Gemba calls and team metrics analysis
• Contribute to user testing, special projects, and Kaizen events
• Train, mentor, and shadow new hires to ensure team growth and development

Professional Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have proven customer service experience, strong relationship-building skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. A passion for continuous improvement and forward-thinking are essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years related experience
• Fluent in French (conversational) to serve French-speaking customers 🇫🇷
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, O365)
• Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Strong relationship-building abilities

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Experience in customer service within manufacturing environments
• Background in process improvement, Kaizens, or related projects
• Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar CRM tools
