Role Overview 📝
We are seeking a motivated Culture Associate for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate is eager, works with urgency, and exhibits a strong work ethic. Hebrew language skills are not required. We especially encourage applications from traditionally underrepresented groups.
Key Responsibilities 🎯
- Support the school culture alongside the Dean of Culture
- Provide behavioral support to students, ensuring adherence to behavior expectations
- Assist with classroom management and provide 1:1, small group, and whole class support
- Lead group sessions using Zones of Regulation
- Maintain culture office hours for student referrals
- Record behavior data in Kickboard and report incidents to the Dean of Culture
- Participate in culture team meetings and professional development sessions
- Collaborate with families on student behavior and solutions
- Lead monthly community gatherings for assigned grade(s)
What We’re Looking For ✨
- High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Create a safe, supportive, and challenging environment for students
- Set clear expectations and boundaries
- Build rapport quickly with students
- Passion for teaching underserved communities and belief in all students’ potential
- Driven to set and meet ambitious goals
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Growth mindset with receptiveness to feedback
- Experience working with students in underserved areas is a plus
