Role Overview 📝

We are seeking a motivated Culture Associate for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate is eager, works with urgency, and exhibits a strong work ethic. Hebrew language skills are not required. We especially encourage applications from traditionally underrepresented groups.

Key Responsibilities 🎯

  • Support the school culture alongside the Dean of Culture
  • Provide behavioral support to students, ensuring adherence to behavior expectations
  • Assist with classroom management and provide 1:1, small group, and whole class support
  • Lead group sessions using Zones of Regulation
  • Maintain culture office hours for student referrals
  • Record behavior data in Kickboard and report incidents to the Dean of Culture
  • Participate in culture team meetings and professional development sessions
  • Collaborate with families on student behavior and solutions
  • Lead monthly community gatherings for assigned grade(s)

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Create a safe, supportive, and challenging environment for students
  • Set clear expectations and boundaries
  • Build rapport quickly with students
  • Passion for teaching underserved communities and belief in all students’ potential

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Growth mindset with receptiveness to feedback
  • Experience working with students in underserved areas is a plus
