Role Overview 🎯
Culture Assistants play a vital role in supporting students' social-emotional development and behavior expectations, contributing to a safe and positive school environment. 🤝
Key Responsibilities 📝
- Supervise student behavior during lunch and recess, enforcing expectations
- Assist students in maintaining a clean lunch environment
- Lead student activities during recess
- Monitor student movement during transitions (bathrooms, nurse, etc.)
- Support dismissal procedures, including late pick-up supervision
- Assist with detention periods, both during and after school
Qualifications & Skills 👤
- High school diploma or GED required
- Effective communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Must obtain all required clearances
- Experience working with children
- Adherence to PHP’s professionalism standards
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) 🌟
- American Red Cross First Aid Certification
- CPR Certification
- Experience working with students with special needs, including adaptive equipment (wheelchairs, lifts, ramps)
