🎯 Role Summary

We are seeking native speakers and cultural experts to support data creation, evaluation, and query vetting for Generative AI. As a Culture and Linguist Expert, you will apply your linguistic, cultural, and societal knowledge to train, evaluate, and improve large language models (LLMs). Your work will ensure AI responses are culturally accurate, unbiased, and contextually appropriate.

This role entails close collaboration with AI researchers and engineers, rapid workflow execution, and a strong emphasis on quality, accuracy, and cultural nuance.

📝 Main Responsibilities

• Generate Training Sets: Create, expand, and review authentic content such as natural language queries, prompts, idiomatic expressions, and conversational examples.
• Create Evaluation Sets: Design culturally nuanced prompts testing humor, sensitive topics, taboos, regional differences, and social context.
• Benchmark AI Responses: Evaluate outputs for cultural appropriateness, tone, factual correctness, bias, and overall quality, providing detailed feedback.
• Query Vetting & Fact Checking: Conduct research to verify accuracy and ensure content meets factual and informational standards.
• Framework & Workflow Development: Translate research requirements into detailed workflows and establish evaluation standards.
• Data Vetting & Enrichment: Review and enhance datasets to reflect diverse cultural perspectives across regions and demographics.
• Bias Analysis & Ethical Review: Identify, categorize, and document biases to promote responsible AI development and bias mitigation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with AI researchers, engineers, and reviewers to improve data quality and impact.

🎓 Job Requirements

Language Proficiency

• Native, bilingual, or full professional proficiency in reading and writing in Swedish.

Educational Background

• Graduates with distinction and deep cultural knowledge.
• Degree from a top-tier U.S. or international university or institute.

Core Competencies & Skills

• Exceptional reading and writing skills in the target language, including mastery of grammar, syntax, and style.
• Strong research and fact-checking abilities to ensure accuracy and mitigate bias.
• Meticulous attention to detail for precise language and data accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and conveying complex ideas.
• Foundational understanding of AI, NLP, and large language models (LLMs).
• Prompt review expertise to assess and craft high-quality prompts.
