What’s the Opportunity? 🔍
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Crypto Compliance Project Manager to serve as the company's crypto expert within the Compliance, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs division. This strategic role involves ensuring our crypto merchants meet compliance and regulatory standards, onboarding new clients, addressing issues, and leading crypto content initiatives. You'll be part of our newly formed “crypto squad,” enjoying high exposure and strategic influence.
What Will You Be Doing? 📝
- Act as the main point of contact (PoC): representing Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, and Legal to the commercial team.
- Support merchant onboarding: especially focused on crypto merchants to ensure seamless integration.
- Become a subject matter expert: on all crypto-related topics within dLocal.
- Collaborate with Traffic Monitoring: to receive risk reports related to current transaction flows.
- Engage with merchants: to address and resolve compliance and regulatory issues.
- Guide merchants: in compliance best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop automated solutions: to prevent non-compliant transactions.
- Maintain detailed records: of compliance interactions and resolutions.
What Skills Do You Need? ✅
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in compliance, financial services, or payment processing.
- Experience across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of compliance practices specific to crypto.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards for crypto companies; US regulations are a plus.
- Deep knowledge of crypto flows and verticals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with merchants and internal teams.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Fluent in English.
