What We Do
- Creative Assets: Develop branding, digital, print, and packaging design materials to promote our games and support our brand.
- Marketing & Promotions: Produce promotional assets for events, in-game content, and advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.
Role: Bilingual Creative Copywriter 🎨✍️
We are seeking a dedicated, bilingual (Spanish & English) Creative Copywriter, preferably with advertising experience, to craft engaging content for in-game media such as radio, TV ads, social media, and out-of-home advertising. Your work will echo the diverse voices of our characters and worlds.
This is a full-time, in-office position located at Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.
Responsibilities
- Write scripts in Spanish and English for in-game media.
- Create world-building copy that captures the tone, voice, and personality of characters and environments.
- Collaborate with teams across Writing, Design, Art, and In-Game Media to generate creative concepts.
- Review and refine copy in partnership with senior writers, ensuring quality and alignment with project goals.
- Understand and embody the feel of our games and broader American culture.
- Work with art directors, graphic designers, and illustrators to develop comprehensive in-game campaigns.
- Communicate ideas and design decisions effectively across teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in comedy writing, across advertising, TV, skits, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of current pop culture trends and platforms.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Ability to produce multiple projects quickly, efficiently, and on deadline while maintaining quality.
- Skilled at translating concepts into clear, succinct copy that fits brief requirements.
- Enthusiastic about feedback, with the ability to respond swiftly and thoroughly.

- Experience as a copywriter at an advertising agency.

- Additional creative pursuits like stand-up, improv, illustration, or animation.
- Passion for video games, film, and entertainment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in English, Creative Writing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation 💰
The starting annual salary range in New York State (including NYC) is $80,000—$100,000 USD. Compensation includes potential bonuses, equity awards, and comprehensive benefits such as medical and financial plans.
