Position Overview
The New Jersey Judiciary AOC Probation Services, Child Support Enforcement Unit is seeking a seasoned Customer Service Representative. This role involves engaging with the public, managing case-related inquiries, and collaborating with statewide child support operations.

Key Responsibilities 📌
- Build rapport: Establish and maintain polite, cooperative relationships with callers.
- Assess needs: Conduct interviews to understand caller requirements.
- Provide support: Offer accurate information and assistance.
- Utilize systems: Access FACTS, E-Courts, and child support NJKiDS for request updates.
- Maintain confidentiality: Follow strict protocols for sensitive information.
- Conduct research: Identify issues through system analysis.
- Collaborate: Partner with vicinage Family and Probation units for call referrals.
- Deliver quality service: Ensure client satisfaction and respond to inquiries about judgments and warrants.
- Manage time effectively: Prioritize tasks to handle multiple assignments efficiently.
- Additional duties: Perform related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements 🎓
- Graduation from an accredited college with a bachelor's degree and two years of relevant case management experience.
- Experience must include gathering, analyzing case information, and exercising judgment and discretion.
- Substitutions allowed: Additional experience for education, associate's degree, or master’s degree as specified.
- BICAT Test: Bilingual candidates must pass or demonstrate proficiency as per NJ Civil Service standards.
- Additional notes: Degrees from outside the U.S. require evaluation; a valid NJ driver’s license is necessary if driving is required.
- US citizenship not mandatory; applicants must have legal work authorization.
- All hires will undergo a thorough background check, including fingerprinting.
- New employees must establish and maintain NJ residency within one year of hire unless exempted.
