Overview
Movement Strategy is seeking a talented Bilingual (English/Spanish) Copywriter to lead innovative social-first content for a high-profile music account. This role blends content creation, platform insight, and community engagement, ideal for someone who not only writes but actively produces content, understands digital behavior, and connects authentically with audiences.
Reporting to a Creative Director, you will:
- Concept and write content for TikTok, Instagram/Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms
- Bring a social media-savvy mindset with cultural curiosity and creator instincts
- Contribute to reactive, fan-driven storytelling, artist launches, and campaign activations

KEY FOCUS AREAS
Creative Concepting & Social Storytelling
- Develop social-first content ideas around artists, genres, playlists, and cultural trends 🎤
- Ground ideas in platform behavior, fandom dynamics, and real-time cultural trends
- Create scripts, captions, hooks, and text-on-screen for TikTok, Reels, Shorts
- Participate in low-lift content creation (UGC-style videos, in-app edits, creator POVs)
- Bring creator thinking into brainstorms to produce platform-optimized content
Writing, Editing & Copy Execution
- Craft clear, compelling copy for organic and paid social with platform context 💬
- Quickly edit and refine work based on performance feedback
- Support reactive content, cultural conversations, and artist-driven drops
- Maintain speed and cultural relevance in fast-paced workflows
Hybrid Creator Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish and comfort engaging with Spanish-speaking communities
- Hands-on content creation skills—UGC-style videos, text-on-screen, native formats
- Experience creating, posting, or managing content on TikTok and Instagram; traditional agency copywriting less relevant
- Creative, entrepreneurial spirit—side projects, creator accounts, meme pages, fan communities
- Community management instincts, especially for Latin-focused audiences
Cross-Functional Collaborative Work
- Collaborate with Art Directors, Designers, Video Editors, and teams to align visuals and copy
- Coordinate with Content & Engagement teams for captions, reactive opportunities, platform nuances
- Provide timely updates to Creative Directors, Project Managers, and clients
UGC Sourcing & Cultural Fluency
- Monitor trends, viral audio, artist moments, fan conversations, creator POVs
- Source and shape authentic UGC reflecting fan engagement with music
- Support community-facing copy and two-way dialogue
- Bring cultural insights, especially within Latin music and youth culture, proactively
Publishing & Community Support
- Write engaging captions for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and more
- Assist with community moments and social dialogue in partnership with C&E teams
- Maintain consistent brand voice across reactive and UGC content
Quality Control & Execution
- Ensure message consistency, proper grammar, and clarity
- Fact-check references and brand details before delivery
- Manage multiple content variations across channels with accuracy
Performance & Optimization
- Collaborate with insights teams to analyze content performance
- Apply feedback and data insights to improve future content
Qualifications 📋
- Bilingual in Spanish and English with cultural fluency
- 2–5 years of experience creating or managing social-first content
- Portfolio demonstrating social posts, short videos, scripts, creator-style work
- Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and Shorts from a user perspective
- Experience engaging with online communities, fandoms, or creator ecosystems

Salary & Compensation 💰
Range: $70,000 - $85,000
Compensation reflects skills, experience, location, and responsibilities. Additional incentives such as bonuses and program-specific awards may apply. Movement Strategy is committed to pay equity and creates competitive salary packages.
