Position Overview

Job Description: The Copywriter develops clear, engaging, and brand-aligned messaging for diverse audiences across multiple channels. Working remotely, the role involves transforming complex information into compelling stories and actionable content, collaborating across teams, and leveraging emerging AI tools to optimize creative output. Candidates should showcase strong creative instincts, attention to detail, and openness to innovative technologies. Please submit at least two writing samples in English and one in Spanish or provide a link to your online portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Localization: Write, edit, and adapt content in English and Latin American Spanish for websites, social media, email campaigns, direct mail, print, and video, ensuring cultural nuance and tone. 🌎
  • Strategic Copywriting: Convert project plans and strategies into captivating copy that reflects NMDP’s brand voice and tone.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, marketing, digital, content, and translation teams to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign effectiveness. 🤝
  • Style & Standards: Apply AP style, brand guidelines, and Spanish language standards consistently across all materials.
  • Feedback & Revisions: Incorporate stakeholder feedback efficiently to refine content.
  • Utilize AI Tools: Use innovative tools to streamline workflows, generate new ideas, and enhance content quality. ⚙️
  • Project Management: Prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to deliver accurate, timely, on-brand copy.
  • Testing & Optimization: Provide ideas for content testing and audience engagement improvements.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay informed on marketing and storytelling trends to continually enhance pitch and approach. 📈
  • Translation Review: Verify accuracy and consistency of translated materials.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge of:

  • Native or professional proficiency in English and Latin American Spanish
  • Familiarity with AI writing and research tools, with an interest in leveraging them for creative enhancement
  • Strong command of grammar, AP style, and brand voice application

Ability To:

  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate effectively with remote, cross-functional teams
  • Follow organizational branding and style guidelines

Education & Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional copywriting experience in an agency or in-house marketing setting
  • A portfolio demonstrating versatility across channels and tones

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related fields
  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations
  • Knowledge of digital and traditional marketing best practices
  • Familiarity with testing, analytics, and content performance metrics
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies and their role in storytelling
