Job Title: Brand Bilingual (Spanish/English) Copywriter
Location: Hybrid work (3 days/week) in McLean, VA
Contract Duration: 4 months
Compensation: $55-60/hour
About the Role
Adecco Creative & Marketing is partnering with a leading Fortune 100 financial services and technology organization to find a talented Bilingual Copywriter. In this role, you will support the adaptation, creation, and proofreading of digital and print marketing content targeted at Spanish-speaking audiences across the U.S. You will collaborate closely with creative, legal, and linguistic teams to ensure our messaging is culturally relevant, customer-focused, inclusive, and aligned with the brand’s voice.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with experience adhering to brand guidelines
- Strong understanding of the U.S. Spanish-speaking market and cultural nuances
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency (speaking and writing) in English and Spanish
- Impeccable grammar, punctuation, and spelling in both languages
- Experience adapting copy from English to Spanish with a customer-centric approach
- Attention to detail, highly organized, and deadline-driven
- Skilled in proofreading and editing various content types, including print, web, graphics, and videos
- Team-oriented mindset with ease collaborating across departments
- Capable of writing clever headlines as well as long-form copy
- Ability to adapt tone and voice based on message and audience
- Understanding creative strategy and effectively presenting ideas for buy-in
- Positive attitude and outlook
- Familiarity with Google’s tools such as Docs, Slides, and Sheets is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Review, edit, and approve translations to ensure the Brand Personality and Voice (clear, conversational, engaging) are maintained
- Collaborate with Legal and Linguistic teams to resolve regulatory and syntax issues
- Decide on stylistic suggestions and their implementation
- Leverage available tools to promote consistency across content
- Assess the impact of brand messaging on the customer experience, ensuring cultural relevance
- Guide inclusion of Hispanic insights and best practices in content
- Collaborate with English copywriters on projects as needed
- Create and maintain a Spanish brand style guide
- Participate in relevant project meetings to align content strategies
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- At least 4 years of experience in Spanish language communications or creative writing
