Your Role as Coordinator, Community Impact 🎯

As a Coordinator, you will lead the planning and execution of charitable projects, events, and community initiatives for the Padres Foundation/Community Impact team. Your responsibilities will include facilitating donations, managing events, supporting military and first responder programs, and ensuring the smooth operation of community-related activities. Strong administrative skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Charity Ticket Program: Coordinate distribution and tracking of Padres charitable game tickets
  • Charitable Requests: Manage and fulfill requests received by the Community Impact department
  • Request Review & Fulfillment: Review requests via online software, supervise fulfillment, and generate reports
  • Tony Gwynn Community All-Stars Program: Organize application reviews, coordinate with stakeholders, and execute pregame ceremonies honoring local students
  • Community Kiosk: Book charity partners, manage activation booths during home games
  • Alumni Relations: Coordinate community/corporate appearances, manage newsletters, and support Fantasy Camp
  • Military & First Responder Programs: Assist with pregame salutes, ticket programs, and events
  • Play Ball Activities: Support youth programs like the Future Padres Jersey and Rookie League
  • 50/50 Raffle: Facilitate staff scheduling, manage in-game Raffle operations, and fill in when needed
  • Fundraisers & Events: Assist with Dinner on the Diamond, Garage Sale, Broadcast Auction, including budgeting, volunteer coordination, and event follow-up
  • Administrative Duties: Manage community email inboxes, stock supplies, and support departmental needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications ✅

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
  • Professional demeanor with discretion, integrity, and accountability
  • Punctuality and reliable attendance

Qualifications & Physical Requirements 📋

  • Must be at least 18 years old by start date
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education
  • Minimum 1-year experience in community, business, or administrative role
  • Fluency in English; bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to access various areas of the ballpark during events; lift up to 25 pounds
  • Completion of all pre-employment screening, including background check

Compensation & Benefits 💰

According to California’s pay transparency law, the hourly pay range is $21.06 - $23.00. Salary specifics will depend on experience, education, and skills.
