Job Summary
The Coordination Supervisor oversees scheduling, administrative functions, and team management to ensure efficient home health care delivery. Responsibilities include managing coordinators, ensuring compliance, maintaining communication with staff, clients, and caregivers, and reporting to leadership. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Team Management
- Mentor and supervise the coordination team for optimal performance
- Assign tasks, monitor daily activities, and evaluate staff
- Hold regular team meetings to foster collaboration
Scheduling and Coordination
- Oversee caregiver scheduling to meet client needs
- Resolve conflicts and fill last-minute shifts efficiently
- Maintain effective communication with clients, caregivers, and staff
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure adherence to regulations and agency policies
- Review and update care plans and schedules accurately
- Address compliance issues promptly
Client and Caregiver Support
- Handle escalated concerns from clients and caregivers
- Collaborate with clinical staff on care plans
- Assist with onboarding and training new caregivers
Operational Efficiency & Crisis Management
- Implement processes to streamline scheduling
- Monitor workload and adjust as needed
- Track KPIs and report to leadership
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and ensure backup plans are in place
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare-related degree preferred
- Experience: 2-3 years supervisory experience in healthcare or home health setting
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
Working Conditions
- Office-based role with occasional visits to client homes or field sites
- Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and quick decision-making
Compensation & Employment Details
Salary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually 💵
