• Work Style: Hybrid (once or twice a week at the office)

Industry & Work Hours

• Industry: Travel / Tourism
• Work Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Employment Status: Full-time, Exempt

🔑 Position Summary

The company is seeking a skilled Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations. This role involves financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, audits, internal controls, and supervising the accounting team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with CPA certification and extensive management experience in accounting or finance.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting and finance operations
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Supervise and support accounting staff
• Manage company insurance policies and related documentation

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA license preferred
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience
• Minimum 5 years of management experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Japanese bilingual skills ✨ are a strong plus
• Experience in the travel or tour industry is an advantage
