About the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU)

The CCIU is seeking a Certified Bilingual (Spanish) School Psychologist to support bilingual Spanish-speaking students across the IU Countywide. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a diverse educational community and support students' academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of school psychological services to children ages 0-21, including assessment and intervention planning
• Offer consultation and counseling to students, faculty, and parents
• Participate in program development and systems support
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to determine student eligibility for special services
• Design appropriate programming and conduct ongoing evaluation
• Collaborate with students, faculty, parents, administration, and the community
• Ensure all services and procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as school policies
• Utilize evidence-based or scientifically validated practices in service delivery

Qualifications & Skills

Candidates should possess:

• Certification as a School Psychologist
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Experience working with bilingual students and diverse populations
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and procedures
