The Role: Consumer Analyst
As a Consumer Analyst, you will support KeyBank’s Language Access Program by managing translation workflows, ensuring quality Spanish translations, and developing resources to promote inclusive banking. Your contributions will help expand language offerings, improve digital accessibility, and ensure regulatory compliance. Essential Responsibilities
- Manage translation project workflows, including request intake, review, approvals, and final delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and assess the quality of Spanish and other language translations, providing feedback to vendors to maintain content integrity.
- Coordinate language certification testing, track certifications, and support program improvements.
- Develop and deliver training on language access tools to bank employees.
- Monitor and audit the LAP control plans and translated document inventory.
- Research industry best practices, trends, and regulations related to language access in financial services.
- Provide recommendations to enhance language assistance services across the organization.
- Support project management efforts to ensure successful implementation of LAP initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute the program effectively.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Spanish, Communications, Linguistics, Business, Public Policy, or related fields.
- Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written) with strong English skills.
- Exceptional attention to linguistic nuances and context in both languages.
- Ability to translate complex program info into engaging, clear presentations.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of financial products such as deposits, credit, and investments.
- Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in translation project management or language access services.
- Knowledge of financial industry regulations regarding language access.
- Familiarity with translation tools or content management systems.
- Prior experience working in financial services.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a base salary ranging from $70,000 to $78,000 annually, depending on location and experience. It also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation.
