Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Control Manager or Engineer to supervise the construction of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) site. 🎯 The primary responsibilities include overseeing subcontractors’ work, monitoring site activities, reporting daily progress, and ensuring adherence to project schedules. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of construction processes and has experience managing subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities

• 🔍 Monitor and manage subcontractors’ on-site progress, providing daily reports with site photos detailing work status and issues encountered.
• 📝 Document site activities and ensure alignment with project timelines.
• ✔️ Check and report inspection results to verify construction standards are followed.
• 🔄 Compare actual progress with design drawings to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• 🛠️ Prepare commission supervisor reports and instructions.
• 📋 Ensure construction work meets approved drawings and technical specifications.
• 🦺 Supervise work quality, safety compliance, and regulatory standards.
• 📆 Develop, update, and manage the project schedule for timely completion.
• 🤝 Coordinate with subcontractors to address delays or scheduling conflicts proactively.
• 🎯 Ensure on-site activities align with overall project milestones.
• ⚠️ Identify potential risks and resolve site issues before they impact the project timeline or quality.
• 📢 Report significant risks or deviations to stakeholders when necessary.
• 📄 Manage subcontractor key reports and instructions.
• 🤝 Maintain regular communication with internal teams for smooth coordination.
• 📝 Provide progress reports to stakeholders and management as needed.
• 👷 Act as the main point of contact with the owner/stakeholders and on-site representatives.
• 📅 Attend weekly meetings with the owner to review construction status and progress.

Requirements

• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 🕒 Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction or energy projects.
• 🔋 Proven experience managing electric or energy-related projects, especially in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or renewable energy sectors.
• 📐 Strong understanding of EPC contracts, construction processes, electric technical drawings, and quality standards.
• 🤝 Loyal and responsible team player capable of long-term commitment to the company.
