Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Russian-speaking Companion / Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to deliver exceptional care to a female client in Princeton. The ideal candidate will be attentive, fluent in Russian, and deeply committed to patient-centered care—helping improve quality of life through tailored assistance and support.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Companionship & Emotional Support: Engage in meaningful conversation and activities in Russian to promote comfort and well-being. 🤝
• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support, including the use of tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary. 🚿👚
• Health Monitoring: Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; report any concerns promptly. 🩺
• Medication Administration: Administer medications accurately per medical instructions and document diligently, ensuring HIPAA compliance. 💊
• Medical Procedures Support: Support with catheter care, wound management, and dementia-related care, including Alzheimer’s and memory support. 🧠
• Household Assistance: Perform light cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and maintain a safe and clean living environment. 🧹🥗
• Documentation: Use Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to log patient activities thoroughly and accurately. 📝
• Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to update care plans and maintain detailed medical records. 🤝

Requirements

• Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments, especially with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication management, vital signs monitoring, and safety protocols.
• Certification as a CHHA or equivalent; CPR certification is mandatory. ✅
• Experience with dementia care, Alzheimer’s support, hospice, catheter management, and mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts (preferred).
• Fluency in Russian is required; excellent English communication skills are highly valued. 🗣️
• Ability to work independently with patience, empathy, and a compassionate attitude. 💙
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and understanding of HIPAA standards for confidentiality. 🔐

Pay & Location 💰

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
