Job Summary

The Community Center Associate will be stationed at one or more of Clever Care's Medicare Community Centers, providing outstanding customer service to members and seniors. This role involves representing Clever Care within the community, developing our reputation, and engaging in sales activities. The ideal candidate is motivated by our mission to deliver culturally-sensitive healthcare solutions to seniors.

Schedule

40 hours per week, with some Saturdays required.

Functions & Job Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at community centers 🏥
• Assist members in their preferred language regarding benefits and access to care 🗣️
• Act as a Medicare Advisor, supporting community members with Medicare questions
• Plan and coordinate health and wellness events, including logistics and planning
• Coordinate building repairs with the Facilities Team 🛠️
• Maintain inventory of equipment, supplies, and marketing materials 📦
• Monitor foot traffic and service utilization 📊
• Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure quality and safety ✅
• Manage space for classes, activities, and training sessions while ensuring safety and cleanliness 🧼
• Develop programs and activities that add value and engagement, collaborating with internal teams 🎯
• Participate in member and community events, including setting up booths, sponsoring festivals, and engaging in cultural celebrations 🎉
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience 🎓
• At least 1 year of customer service experience 💼
• Preferred: 1 year in marketing, healthcare, nonprofit, or senior communities
• Experience in event planning or coordination is a plus 🗓️
• Experience working with ethnically diverse populations 🌍
• Active California Life and Health Insurance License or ability to obtain within 2 months 📝

Skills

• Bilingual in Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean (reading, speaking, writing) 🌐
• Excellent customer service skills, especially with seniors 🌟
• Comfortable presenting to small and large groups 🎤
• Passion for improving seniors' healthcare access and understanding ❤️
• Detail-oriented with event planning skills 📝
• Reliable, present, and dedicated 🔑
• Strong organizational skills 📅

Wage Range 💰

$20 to $24 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Physical & Working Environment

Requires physical ability to perform essential functions, with or without accommodations:

Work environment includes frequent interactions with staff and the public, with occasional irregular hours based on business needs.
