Job Summary 📝

The Community Center Associate will work at one or multiple Clever Care Medicare Community Centers, delivering excellent customer service to members and seniors in the community. This role involves representing Clever Care, developing community relationships, and supporting sales initiatives. Motivated by our mission, the associate will help provide culturally-sensitive healthcare solutions to seniors.

Schedule & Availability 🗓️

40 hours per week, with some Saturday shifts required.

Functions & Job Responsibilities 🎯

  • Provide exceptional customer service at Community Centers
  • Offer in-language support to assist members with benefits and care access
  • Serve as a Medicare Advisor, guiding community members through their options
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute health and wellness events
  • Communicate with Facilities regarding maintenance and repairs
  • Manage inventory of equipment, supplies, and promotional materials
  • Monitor center traffic and service utilization
  • Perform routine equipment inspections for quality assurance
  • Manage space for classes, activities, and trainings, ensuring safety and cleanliness
  • Develop programs and activities that add value to the center, collaborating with internal teams
  • Participate in and promote member and community events, including booths, sponsorships, and festivals 🎉
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications 🎓

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
  • At least one (1) year of customer service experience
  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, non-profit, or senior communities is a plus
  • Event planning or coordination experience is beneficial
  • Experience working with diverse ethnic populations
  • Active California Life and Health Insurance license required or obtainable within 2 months of hire

Skills & Competencies 🛠️

  • Bilingual in Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean (reading, speaking, writing) on a business level
  • Excellent customer service skills, experience serving seniors a plus
  • Strong presentation skills for small and large groups
  • Passion for helping seniors access healthcare options
  • Detail-oriented with excellent planning skills
  • Reliable, present, and dedicated team player
  • Strong organizational abilities

Wage Range 💵

$20 to $24 per hour

Physical & Working Environment 🌐

Required physical capabilities include:

  • Travel as needed
  • Operate a keyboard, mouse, and phone; perform repetitive motions
  • Sit for extended periods; stand, reach, bend, and lift up to 15 lbs

Work is conducted in office environments with frequent interaction with staff and the public. Irregular hours may be required based on business needs.
