Job Description
Position: Commercial Operations Assistant
Reports to: Director of Strategic Initiatives
Summary
- Play an integral commercial and marketing role at the Parsippany NJ headquarters for a growing and dynamic plastics compounding and distribution company. 🌍
- The Commercial Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the sales strategy by managing critical product information such as technical presentations, data sheets, safety information, regulatory details, lead times, etc., from our suppliers to the sales team.
- Create and manage monthly reports vital for communication with key suppliers regarding commercial activities. Assist in managing the sales pipeline, develop sales tools for the technical sales team, and support the integration of ERP and CRM systems.
- Support marketing efforts across the website, social media, and print materials to promote the company's marketing strategy.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Build and schedule reports via ERP system for profitability analysis, sales history, supplier reporting, and sales campaign dashboards. 📊
- Setup vendor training sessions
- Assist the sales team with info lookups, trade shows, lead management, and data entry
- Manage the Supplier Portal, Datasheet Center, and Product Sales Aid (PSA)
- Assist with Salesforce CRM administration
- Support marketing activities and execute the company's marketing strategies
- Perform general administrative duties for the Commercial Operations Team
- Handle ad hoc commercial administrative projects
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required 🎓
- Spring 2024 graduates are encouraged to apply!
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Fluency in Korean (Required) 🇰🇷
- Experience in data analysis, ERP systems, Salesforce, B2B sales, or marketing (highly preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Willingness to adapt in an evolving environment
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Analytical mindset with a sense of urgency for proactive work
- Ability to collaborate within a team and foster professional relationships
- Capacity to produce large volumes of accurate, timely work
Hours & Location
On-site at our HQ in Parsippany, NJ, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, 4-5 days per week. 🕒
