Pay Range: $25 - $27.50 / hour
Location: The Oshman Family Jewish Community Center (OFJCC) β Silicon Valley's innovative non-profit organization creating joyful, educational, social, cultural, spiritual, fitness, and wellness programs. Join us for year-round positions!
The Role: Club JCH Teacher

Core Responsibilities π
- Supervise and interact with school-age children in both individual and group settings to enhance their learning experience
- Support the Club JCH program, emphasizing Jewish culture, history, traditions, language, and values
- Plan and execute activities that promote emotional, cognitive, social, and physical development
- Encourage children to interact, learn, create, and thrive while respecting their individual needs
- Maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment for children and staff
- Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating a positive attitude
Qualifications & Requirements β
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree preferred
- 1+ year of experience in a licensed child care center or similar setting (preferred)
- 1 year of youth program development experience (preferred)
- 12 semester units of Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development (CD), or recognized units in after-school settings
- Hebrew-speaking skills are a plus
- Knowledge of Jewish culture, traditions, and values
- Background check clearance (including fingerprinting, Child Abuse Index, and medical/TB exam)
- Valid California Driverβs License with a safe driving record; pass drug tests as required
- Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a community
- Familiarity with Jewish rituals and values is preferred but not required
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude about working in a non-profit environment
