What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and mentor the Cloud Platform Engineering team and contractors in cloud operations planning and execution.
- Design, deploy, operate, and optimize the OpenStack-based private cloud platform and public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Oversee daily operations to ensure reliability, availability, and performance of cloud platforms.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure components.
- Collaborate closely with Hyundai AutoEver Korea (HQ) and Hyundai Motor Company Korea on technical, architectural, and operational initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership in areas including installation, upgrades, security, performance tuning, and maintenance.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation supporting operational and emergency incident management.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders in the U.S. and Korea to ensure aligned and transparent service delivery.
What We Require From You
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, security, monitoring, and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies; experience with private cloud platforms such as OpenStack is preferred.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and lead infrastructure integration projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational improvements.
- Motivation to lead cloud operations and transition toward cloud solutions.
