Job Overview
Purpose: The Technology and Training Specialist (TTS) ensures each customer trialing a Lingraphica device has a superior experience. From initial device setup to weekly training sessions, the TTS builds trusting relationships by providing clear education, responsive support, and compassionate guidance. The role collaborates closely with teams across Engagement, Sales, Referrals, Product, and Clinical to ensure a seamless customer experience. 🚀
Key Responsibilities
- Device Training & Support: Conduct setup and training sessions via Zoom, lead weekly one-on-one coaching, and customize devices to meet individual communication needs.
- Evaluation & Troubleshooting: Assess functional skills, identify and resolve trial obstacles, and provide technical support when needed.
- Customer Engagement: Maintain empathetic communication with care partners, documenting interactions meticulously in the CRM, and tracking key engagement metrics.
- Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on product features, explain processes clearly, and ensure clients feel confident and competent in using the devices.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams to share updates, align on customer needs, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
- Build strong rapport with clients and caregivers for a positive experience 🤝
- Support sales activities, including trial navigation, documentation, and addressing financial questions
- Provide feedback to enhance internal processes
- Identify opportunities for deeper customer engagement
- Assist team members to meet departmental goals
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Deep empathy and ability to build trust with families and caregivers ❤️
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer-focused approach
- Strong organizational and time management skills with adaptability
- Calm, solution-oriented demeanor during technical or emotional encounters
- Capability to tailor training for a range of functional needs
- Data analysis skills to inform recommendations
- Proficiency in HubSpot, Microsoft Office, and Zoom preferred
- Confident presentation skills for technical explanations
- Experience working effectively with individuals with disabilities
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong communication skills 🗣️
Education & Experience
Required:
- 1–3 years in customer service or technical support, ideally in healthcare, supporting English and Spanish speakers
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combined education and experience
- Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
- Background in sales, client engagement, or relationship management
- Experience supporting clients with communication challenges
Work Environment & Logistics
Remote Work & Schedule: Operate from home with a need to maintain a secure, productive environment. Available to work 10 am-6 pm EST, Monday through Friday. Occasional travel to Princeton, NJ, approximately twice a year, and to national conferences within the U.S.
Physical & Technical Requirements: Must be able to operate a computer, communicate verbally (with accommodations if needed), and uphold safety protocols.
Compensation & Benefits 💼
The starting salary ranges from $59,400 to $63,000 annually, with an additional $3,000 Spanish language differential. We offer:
