Position: Client Success Manager (CSM) - Managed Services Team

We are seeking a passionate, client-focused Client Success Manager (CSM) to join our team, embodying our core values to support nonprofit clients. This full-time, salaried role is key to fostering strong relationships, promoting platform adoption, and guiding strategic growth.

Job Summary

As a proactive and forward-thinking CSM, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of nonprofit clients, ensuring their support, operational, and strategic needs are met. Your role involves establishing trusted advisor relationships, driving CRM adoption, and collaborating with clients to craft long-term visions for their technology investments.

You’ll leverage your account management expertise to advise on cloud-based platforms, deliver on commitments, manage workflows within deadlines, and continually seek process improvements. A high degree of ownership, adaptability in ambiguous situations, and eagerness to expand your Salesforce knowledge are essential.

This role offers opportunities to enhance your skills in Salesforce platform areas, data analytics, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow client relationships, focusing on CRM utilization and ROI enhancement.
  • Build strategic partnerships by understanding clients’ missions and organizational structures.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to maximize platform efficacy within clients' operations.
  • Understand client business processes and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
  • Lead and facilitate client meetings to gather and document requirements.
  • Respond to support requests, manage escalations, and collaborate with internal technical teams.
  • Conduct quarterly strategy sessions; identify and pursue expansion opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Professional Services.
  • Ensure clients follow best practices, optimize platform use, and achieve maximum value.
  • Provide end-user training or coordinate with Technical Analysts for training sessions.
  • Efficiently manage billable hours across teams to maximize client engagement and productivity.
  • Advocate for clients within Craftsman Technology Group to meet current and future needs.
  • Onboard new clients with hands-on training and guidance on best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation of client business processes and contribute to our knowledgebase.

Required Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator credential.
  • Completion of Salesforce Sales Cloud or Nonprofit Cloud Consultant certification within 90 days of hiring.
  • At least 2 years’ experience using Salesforce in a technical capacity.
  • Passion for the nonprofit sector and related experience.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, ensure satisfaction, and resolve issues.
  • Experience engaging with multiple organizational levels as a trusted advisor.
  • Comfort in deadline-driven environments with multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in leading client and internal meetings.
  • Ability to identify and recommend process improvements.
  • Commitment to continuous learning in technology and nonprofit practices.
  • Excellent probing and listening skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Track record of increasing client satisfaction, retention, and advocacy.
  • Experience supporting third-party Salesforce applications like FormAssembly, Click & Pledge, Nintex, etc.
  • Experience with technology project deployment.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $72,500 – $87,500
