Overview
Role Insights — This pivotal position serves as the communication hub within our organization, connecting clients, patients, and internal departments. You'll handle high-volume inbound calls, address challenges related to claims and authorizations, and deliver top-tier, energizing service. Success in this role requires confidence as a problem solver, quick execution of solutions, and excellent time management.
Your key performance indicators (KPIs) will include inbound/outbound call volumes, escalation rates, and overall responsiveness, ensuring continuous improvement and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities
- 📞 Receive inbound calls from healthcare providers, insurance plans, and patients seeking updates on claims, authorizations, eligibility, and other medical inquiries
- 🔍 Provide accurate information regarding medical service eligibility
- 🔄 Transfer calls to appropriate departments when necessary
- 📝 Research and resolve issues related to claims, eligibility, and authorizations
- 📱 Make outbound follow-up calls as needed
- 🚨 Recognize and report customer call trends that require management attention
- 💡 Suggest process enhancements for improved efficiency
- 💾 Document all interactions and actions in proprietary AMM software
- ⚙️ Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities
- Fluency in Korean is a MUST
- Experience working REMOTELY (1-2 years preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred
- Over 2 years of call center experience strongly preferred
- At least 1 year in medical or healthcare settings preferred
- High energy, goal-oriented mindset
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional work ethic and customer service skills
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
