Job Overview

This position offers multiple levels, open to candidates with 4 to 5 years minimum experience in customer service and sales. The successful candidate will be hired at the level that aligns with their experience. Please note that the salary range provided corresponds to the lowest level of the position posted.

Key Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with clients through in-person, appointment-based, and virtual engagement 🤝
• Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs with a digital-first mindset 🌐
• Obtain and process customer and account information accurately
• Educate clients on deposit, loan, and digital products/services & recommend tailored solutions 🎓
• Proactively reach out and follow up with clients, learning about their financial goals 📞
• Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital offerings
• Process basic transactions, open new accounts, and complete service requests
• Partner with branch team members to deliver outstanding client service 🤝
• Leverage resources to ensure operational excellence and accuracy

Regulatory Requirements

This role requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Registration involves a criminal background and credit check. Failure to maintain registration requirements may result in employment termination.

Location Expectations

This role is based at a U.S. Bank location with scheduled in-person work days.

Salary & Qualifications

Client Relationship Consultant 1

Salary Range: $20.34 - $24.86/hour

• Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience
  • 1-3 years of sales experience
• Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Retail product knowledge and systems
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Effective selling and referral abilities
  • Strong math, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience in financial services industry (preferred)

Client Relationship Consultant 2

Salary Range: $23.17 - $28.37/hour

• Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-4 years of customer service & sales experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean or Spanish and English
• Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Thorough knowledge of retail banking products & systems
  • Experience with sales campaigns/promotions
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Experience assisting less experienced personnel (preferred)

Client Relationship Consultant 3

Salary Range: $27.21 - $33.27/hour

• Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4-5 years of relevant retail banking experience or equivalent
  • Bilingual in Korean or Spanish & English
• Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Relationship-building through proactive outreach
  • Knowledge of bank policies and retail products
  • Experience with digital and self-service technologies
  • Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions proactively
  • Industry experience preferred

Client Relationship Consultant 4

Salary Range: $30.91 - $37.74/hour

• Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of customer service & sales experience
• Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Advanced knowledge of retail banking policies, products, and systems
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in sales campaigns/promotions
  • Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
