💼 Responsibilities

• Perform SIGINT language analysis on voice and graphic materials, exploiting foreign language communications to gather operational intelligence.
• Translate, transcribe, and gist complex written and spoken materials, ensuring precision and adherence to timelines.
• Recover and document Essential Elements of Information (EEIs) to support cryptologic and intelligence efforts.
• Conduct quality control on translations and transcripts, validating linguistic accuracy, context, and intelligence value.
• Provide cultural, regional, and contextual analysis to inform operational decisions.
• Produce intelligence reports, summaries, and briefings to assist analysts, operators, and leadership.
• Collaborate with SIGINT analysts and multidisciplinary teams to support ongoing operations and planning.

🔐 Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
• Minimum of 1 year experience typing on an English keyboard

🎓 Qualifications Breakdown

Level 1 Qualifications

• 2 years full-time cryptologic language processing experience in the required language
• Primary duties must include translation, transcription, or gisting for at least 1 year
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Language proficiency exam scores:
  • Minimum Level 2 in Listening and Reading (e.g., DLPT)

Level 2 Qualifications

• 4 years full-time cryptologic operations experience in the required language(s), with 2 years in the past 4 years
• Associate's Degree or equivalent (can substitute 2 years practical experience for 6 total years)
• Language proficiency exam scores:
  • Minimum Level 3 in at least one modality (2/3 or 3/2)

Level 3 Qualifications

• 10 years of full-time cryptologic language processing or related experience, with 1 year within the past 6 years
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (additional 4 years of experience can substitute)
• Language proficiency exam scores:
  • Minimum Level 3 in at least one modality (2/3 or 3/2)

Level 4 Qualifications

• 15 years of full-time cryptologic language processing or related experience, with 1 year within the past 6 years
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (additional 4 years of experience can substitute)
• Language proficiency exam scores:
  • Minimum Level 3 in Listening and Reading (3/3)
