Leidos Is Hiring A Chinese Language Enabled Osint Collector

Join Our Team as a Chinese Language-Enabled OSINT Collector (Mid) 🌐

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to support our Collection and Reporting Team at DIA/NDOC, providing specialized open-source intelligence collection with Chinese language expertise.

Responsibilities <📝>

• Conduct open-source research: Gather intelligence to meet operational requirements.
• Develop collection plans: Align strategies with mission objectives.
• Identify & evaluate information: Analyze publicly available data from foreign sources.
• Utilize OSINT tools & methodologies: Navigate foreign websites effectively.
• Provide language-enabled insights: Deliver translation, cultural context, and research support.
• Create intelligence reports: Produce accurate and high-quality reports to support missions.
• Conduct quality reviews: Ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
• Maintain legal compliance: Follow applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
• Mentor junior personnel: Contribute to skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Work independently: Demonstrate self-reliance and initiative.
• Showcase organizational skills: Manage time effectively with attention to detail.

Clearance & Language Requirements 🔐

• Active TS/SCI clearance: Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Preferred: Recent SCI-level access and successful polygraph within the last 5 years.
• Language proficiency: Chinese language skills with a minimum DLPT score of 2+ or equivalent (LTI, ALTA).
• English skills: Demonstrated through approved language testing for non-native speakers.

Required Experience, Skills, & Education 🎓

• At least three years of OSINT collection experience.
• Bachelor's degree in intelligence studies or a related field, or seven years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Chinese language proficiency: DLPT 2+ or equivalent.

Preferred Experience, Skills & Education 🌟

• Eight or more years of OSINT experience, with recent activity within the last two years.
• Proficiency with various OSINT tools, platforms, and techniques.
• Relevant OSINT certifications (e.g., EOSINT, OS301, OS302, ONI OSINT Fundamentals, DIA BOTC, NGA OSINT, SOCOM NERD).
• Experience with data science or advanced analytics using Python, R, or similar scripting languages.

Compensation & Benefits 💼

The pay range for this position is $73,450.00 – $132,775.00.
