Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of overseas project experience. Preference for candidates with work experience in French-speaking regions such as Africa or the Middle East. Exceptional candidates may be considered with less overseas experience.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in French-Chinese translation. Possession of CATTI (China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters) or relevant industry certification is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in mining/metallurgy translation is preferred, with familiarity with technical terminology and business processes related to alumina production, processing, and sales.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online resources to enhance translation efficiency and quality.

Core Responsibilities

1. Professional Translation Support

• Provide on-site bilingual (French-Chinese) interpretation for business meetings, technical exchanges, factory visits, etc., ensuring accurate conveying of information. 🌐
• Translate technical documents, contracts, and foreign-related correspondence concerning alumina production, processing, and sales.
• Support communication with local government agencies and assist in compliance documentation.

2. Cross-cultural Communication & Coordination

• Assist in business negotiations with clients and partners from French-speaking regions, offering cultural insights to prevent misunderstandings. 🤝
• Collaborate with overseas project teams and support cross-departmental tasks across production, technical, sales, and other divisions.

3. Industry Knowledge Application

• Integrate knowledge from finance, HR, administration, and safety management to ensure translation aligns with business processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological developments in alumina to improve translation accuracy and relevance. 🚀

4. Emergency & Compliance Support

• Handle urgent translation tasks independently and adapt to shift work or overtime as needed to meet project deadlines. ⏱️
• Ensure compliance with local laws and customs, maintaining the company's positive overseas image.
