About Ready, Set, Kids!

Located in Arlington Center, Ready, Set, Kids! is seeking energetic individuals who love working with young children. We are hiring part-time instructors for Saturday morning Mandarin Enrichment classes designed to introduce children to music and language through interactive activities.

Job Overview

• Role: Mandarin Enrichment Teacher (Saturday mornings)
• Schedule: Two classes: 9:00-10:00am & 10:30-11:30am
• Age Groups: Caregivers attend with babies and toddlers up to age 3; preschool and older children attend child-only classes
• Class Duration: Approximately 1 hour each session
• Location: Mt Rainier

What We Provide

All curriculum, lesson plans, and materials are provided! Your role is to learn the songs, familiarize with the lesson plan, and bring your enthusiasm and energy to the classroom. 🎶

Requirements

• Native speaker or fully fluent in Mandarin
• No prior teaching experience needed — training is provided
• Available on Saturday mornings
• Legal working status

Qualifications

• Passionate about working with children of all ages
• Engaging, friendly, and approachable
• High-energy with a positive attitude
• Comfortable working with groups of children and caregivers
• Strong vocal skills; playing an instrument is a plus 🎸
• Independent and self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills
