Position: Children's Mandarin Chinese Instructor - Saturday Mornings

🌟 About the Role

We are seeking energetic and passionate individuals who love working with children. This part-time position involves leading small groups of children and caregivers in Mandarin language enrichment classes focused on music, songs, and simple instruments. You will facilitate weekly 1-hour classes held on Saturday mornings, teaching two sessions—9:00-10:00am and 10:30-11:30am.

📝 Responsibilities

• Introduce children to musical and language concepts through songs and activities
• Lead small group classes, engaging both children and their caregivers (for babies and toddlers)
• Teach preschool and older children in child-only classes
• Learn provided lesson plans, songs, and instructional materials
• Bring enthusiasm, energy, and leadership to each class

🎤 Qualifications & Requirements

• Native or fully fluent Mandarin speakers
• No prior teaching experience necessary—we provide training!
• Legal working status and Saturday availability required

• Comfortable managing group dynamics with children and caregivers
• Strong vocal skills; playing an instrument is a plus
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
