Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Cuisine (CDC) to support our Executive Chef team. This role involves overseeing the creation of authentic Italian dishes, managing team performance, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience across our restaurants.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of authentic Italian cuisine production in our restaurants
  • Ensure consistent quality standards in food, team management, and guest satisfaction
  • Report to the Executive Chef and oversee a team of Sous Chef Managers
  • Collaborate on planning and executing seasonal menus
  • Lead employee hiring, training, scheduling, payroll, evaluations, and terminations
  • Review financial data such as sales, costs, and labor to ensure budget adherence
  • Manage inventory: estimate needs, place orders, receive and check deliveries
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff regarding menu changes, specials, and shortages
  • Document, investigate, escalate, and resolve employee or guest incidents
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of chef experience, including 2+ years in management
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or culinary arts training from a recognized program (highly preferred)

Job Requirements

  • Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for up to 8 hours
  • Experience with commercial kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, torches, etc.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000 per year 💰
