Job Description: Medical Assistant - Wellness Visits & Patient Coordination

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Annual Wellness Visit questionnaires over the phone with patients 📞
• Make outbound calls to schedule and complete health screenings 📅
• Accurately document patient information in EMR systems (NextGen, etc.) 💾
• Identify eligible patients and assist with scheduling appointments
• Maintain clear, professional communication with patients and clinic staff 💬
• Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant ✅
• Meet daily and monthly performance expectations 📈

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (required) ✔️
• Previous experience in phone-based or call center work is strongly preferred 📞
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills 🗣️
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment ⚡
• Highly dependable with strong time management and accountability 🕒
• Tech-savvy with experience using EMRs and Microsoft Office 💻
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus 🌟
