Job Responsibilities

  • 🌎 Develop and manage short-term and long-term category strategies for Asian FRM and K-Snacks in US, Canada, and Europe across all channels: Club, Retail, and Food Services.
  • 📅 Maintain a strategic multi-year plan and roadmap to drive category growth, profitability, and compelling product positioning.
  • 🔍 Monitor and analyze sales volumes, market share trends, competitive activities, and consumer insights to optimize product management.
  • 🤝 Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Supply Chain Management (SCM), R&D, and Operations for product innovation, planning, and distribution strategies.
  • 🎯 Lead the development of annual marketing plans based on deep consumer insights, including needs, preferences, and macro trends.
  • 💼 Set and manage Profit & Loss (P&L) targets across channels.
  • 🚀 Oversee new product development (NPD) and import processes from conception to execution, addressing pricing, positioning, labeling, and packaging.
  • 🤝 Work collaboratively with departments such as SCM, Operations, and R&D to facilitate infrastructure supporting product and category strategies.
  • 📊 Continuously monitor market landscape using competitive analysis and consumer data to inform decisions.
  • 🔄 Manage product lifecycle, including improvements and SKU rationalization.
  • 🗣️ Develop marketing plans and strategies to effectively communicate with consumers about new products.
  • 📈 Build and maintain metrics dashboards to evaluate category performance and support sales strategies with data-driven narratives.
  • 📝 Identify research needs, conduct marketing research, and track market and competitive trends to stay ahead.
  • 💰 Assist in developing and managing the annual marketing budget, ensuring activities stay within allocated resources.
  • 📅 Support quarterly business review presentations to leadership team.
  • 👥 Oversee and mentor one direct report.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 🎓 Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or Business Administration. An MBA is a plus.
  • 🍽️ Passion for food is essential!
  • 🔟 10+ years of relevant experience in brand or product innovation marketing within the CPG, preferably in the food industry. At least 5+ years in a marketing management role.
  • 💡 Strong P&L knowledge and financial acumen.
  • 🖥️ Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with IRI, Nielsen, and Spins datasets.
  • 🗣️ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • ⏱️ Ability to deliver tasks timely and meet deadlines.
  • ✈️ Willingness to travel as needed.
  • 🇰🇷 Bilingual in Korean is required.

Compensation & Benefits

💵 Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000
