Caregiver / Home Care Aide (POLISH SPEAKING)

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Caregiver to provide non-medical home care services to seniors in their homes. The Caregiver will assist clients with daily living activities, companionship, personal care, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment while promoting independence and dignity.

📝 Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including:
  • Bathing 🛁
  • Dressing 👚
  • Grooming 💇‍♂️
  • Toileting 🚻
  • Mobility assistance 🚶‍♀️
• Provide companionship and emotional support ❤️
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary 🍽️
• Perform light housekeeping duties including:
  • Laundry 🧺
  • Dishwashing 🍽️
  • Sweeping and mopping 🧹
  • Changing bed linens 🛏️
• Remind clients to take medications as directed 💊
• Assist with grocery shopping and errands 🛒
• Escort clients to medical appointments and community activities 🚗
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor 👀
• Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries 🙊
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients 🏡
• Follow agency policies, care plans, and state regulations 📋

🎯 Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred 🎓
• Previous caregiving or senior care experience preferred 🧓👵
• Ability to communicate effectively in English or Spanish 🗣️
• Compassionate, respectful, and patient attitude 🤝
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions ✅
• Reliable transportation preferred 🚗
• Must pass background check and any required screenings 🔍
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred 🩹
