Objective

Caregivers work independently in clients' homes or healthcare facilities, delivering personal care and assistance. They typically travel to clients’ residences to help with basic domestic tasks, activities of daily living such as bathing, and provide companionship and emotional support.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide clients with companionship, socialization, and mental stimulation 😊
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and activities 🚗
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene 🚿👕🚽
• Support with transfers and ambulation 🤝
• Offer medication reminders 💊
• Prepare and cook nutritious meals 🍽️

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, or Parkinson's disease 🧠
• Empathy and a compassionate approach to addressing social, emotional, physical, and mental needs ❤️
• Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations 🚨
• Physical capability to reach with hands and arms ✋
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds safely 🏋️‍♂️
• Occasionally push/pull objects up to 50 pounds, bend, or kneel for tasks 🔄
• Maintain physical strength and stamina 💪

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour 💵

License and Certifications

• Current HCA (preferred) 🏅
