Join Our Team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver! 🌟

We’re seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide meaningful support to elderly and disabled individuals. Make a difference in their daily lives both at home and in the community!

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living tasks such as grooming, eating, and bathing
• Provide updates and care results to relevant parties
• Collaborate with clients and their families to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment
• Perform household tasks including making beds, doing laundry, and meal preparation

🎓 Qualifications:

• Previous experience in personal care or related fields is preferred
• Compassionate and caring nature with strong rapport-building skills
• At least one year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience (paid or volunteer) supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
• Certification requirements (we can help you obtain these quickly if needed):
  • TOVA
  • First Aid
  • CPR
  • Driver's License and access to a car
  • TB test result
  • High school diploma or equivalent

🧠 Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of developmental and intellectual disabilities, mental health, and related physical conditions
• Familiarity with first-aid practices, behavior management, and hygiene standards
• Ability to follow policies, engage in care, and support training and rehabilitation of clients
• Capable of teaching self-care skills such as dressing and grooming
• Strong observation, documentation, and communication skills
• Proficiency in basic math and maintaining positive relationships with clients and coworkers

💼 Experience:

• Minimum of one year (full-time or equivalent part-time, including volunteer work) in caring for individuals with developmental or mental health conditions
