🌟 Job Description
Southern California Heart Centers is seeking a dedicated General Cardiologist to deliver comprehensive non-invasive cardiovascular care in outpatient and inpatient settings. You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide array of cardiovascular conditions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

📝 Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with various cardiovascular conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care including:
- Preventive cardiology
- Risk-factor management
- Chronic disease management
- Perform and interpret diagnostic studies such as:
- Echocardiography (TTE and TEE, if credentialed)
- Cardiac stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic)
- Holter and ambulatory monitoring
- Nuclear imaging, if certified
- EKG interpretation
- Provide inpatient cardiology consultations for hospitalized patients with conditions like heart failure, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, and hypertension.
- Collaborate with hospitalists, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and surgical teams for care planning.
- Coordinate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and care coordinators to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and care planning to enhance outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Adhere to clinical quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
🎓 Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Eligible for California medical licensure
- Active and unrestricted California Physician License
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and CA DEA certifications prior to start

🛠️ Working Conditions & Environment
This role is based primarily in our office located at 506 Valley Blvd., Ste 100, San Gabriel, CA 91776, with additional duties at affiliated hospitals.
Compensation range: $418,000 - $500,000, aligned with our national target range.
