Job Description

As a key member of our translation team, you will:

• Translate content within captions/subtitles, documents, web pages, and software to ensure accurate cross-cultural communication.
• Resolve incorrect cultural translation issues, especially those identified through Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE).
• Refine translation quality by adjusting wording within limited parameters without compromising the original meaning.
• Maintain and update the translation database using Translation Management Software.
• Provide quality assurance throughout the translation process to guarantee high standards.
• Utilize a variety of media and translation software tools effectively.
• Address issues related to translation, localization, and cultural nuances.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver accurate translation services.
• Implement feedback and make necessary updates to improve translation quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Languages, or Linguistics
• Minimum of four years professional experience in the translation field
• Proficiency in Translation Management Systems and related software tools
• Deep knowledge of the translation process, terminology, and localization techniques
• Familiarity with localization standards and guidelines
• Ability to convert written content seamlessly into a second language
• Excellent writing, translation, and communication skills
• Fluency in at least two target languages
• Capacity to work efficiently under tight deadlines
