Overview

Welo Data is seeking fluent Cantonese speakers for a professional studio recording project. No prior experience is necessary—just confidence, a clear voice, and a collaborative spirit! This role is focused on natural reading and speaking in a studio setting.

What You Will Do 🎤

• Speak clearly and confidently in your dialect during focused studio recording sessions.
• Improvise as needed to enhance delivery and maintain a natural flow.
• Follow simple recording instructions from the studio team.

No memorization or acting background required.

Project Details 📅

• Start Date: March 2026
• Duration: 3 weeks, with potential extension
• Commitment: 4 hours daily, up to 2 days in the studio each week
• Opportunity Type: Freelance / Independent Contract
• Location: Seattle (On-site studio)
• Language: Cantonese
• Pay Rate: $55/hour 💰

Requirements ✅

• Native fluency in Cantonese
• Comfortable speaking in a professional studio environment
• Ability to hold a 2–5 minute natural conversation
• Reliable attendance for in-person studio sessions
• Experience in teaching, public speaking, customer service, or similar roles is a plus but not mandatory
