Join Our Remote Cantonese Interpreter Team – Flexible Freelance Opportunity

Earn as you go by providing real-time Cantonese to English interpretation over the phone, with the flexibility to choose your own hours and work from anywhere.

Role Overview

We are seeking Cantonese interpreters to join our remote team on a freelance, on-demand basis. Your main responsibility will be:

• Providing real-time Cantonese to English interpretation over the phone.
• Facilitating communication between parties during calls with an emphasis on clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.

Compensation

The pay rate is $0.22 per minute of talk time, which averages approximately $13 per hour depending on call volume. Your earnings are based on how many minutes you spend actively taking calls.

Work Schedule & Call Volume

The highest call volume occurs between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. We prefer interpreters who can commit to at least four hours daily within this window, but you’re welcome to work more hours if desired. Outside peak hours, calls are available but less frequent.

Requirements & Training

• No prior interpreting experience necessary – we provide onboarding materials and training.
• Please note that training and onboarding are unpaid.
• Once your account is approved and you complete the onboarding, you can start taking calls immediately.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Fluent in both Cantonese and English
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Access to a stable internet connection and a quiet environment for calls
