We are seeking bilingual and multilingual professionals to operate as 1099 Independent Contractors. Make a meaningful societal contribution by supporting language access for all, while enjoying the flexibility to set your own schedules and work hours.
Position Details
- Working Days: Monday - Friday
- Working Hours: 8 am - 5 pm (appointments are scheduled based on need)
- Pay Rate: Starting at $25-$30 per hour, depending on language, experience, and demand
Qualifications & Requirements 📝
- Fluency: Proficient in English and target language, with an understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural nuances
- Experience: Prior interpreting experience preferred, especially in medical, legal, or educational settings
- Professionalism: Punctual, adaptable, and committed to high-quality service
- Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Communication Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate basic communication tools
- Work Location: Must reside in and be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship offered)
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; interpreting certification preferred
