At Hanna, our mission is to bridge communication gaps and provide compassionate language services to those in need. We are looking for bilingual and multilingual professionals to operate as 1099 Independent Contractors, making a positive societal impact while enjoying flexibility and independence.
Position Details
- Role: Freelance Interpreter
- Availability: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (appointments offered based on need)
- Compensation: Starting at $25-$30 per hour, dependent on language, experience, and demand

Qualifications
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and target language, with deep understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural nuances
- Experience: Prior interpreting experience preferred in medical, legal, or educational contexts
- Professionalism: Punctuality, adaptability, and strong communication skills
- Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work solo or collaboratively as needed
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate basic communication devices
- Location & Authorization: Reside in and authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship not provided)
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant interpreting certifications
