Salary: $52,500.00 – $68,900.00
Remote location: Home office

Role & Responsibilities

As a remote interpreter, you play a crucial role in bridging communication gaps. Your responsibilities include:

• Processing information quickly and accurately in a professional manner
• Maintaining a quiet & secure environment for interpretation
• Utilizing note pads, writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries as useful tools

Candidate Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Cantonese
• Minimum of 2 years interpretation experience preferred
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to ensure high accuracy
• Ability to accurately convey concepts and meanings, adhering to established interpretation protocols
• Capacity to explain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with permission or at client request

Technical & VRI Requirements

• Computer or Laptop with Windows 10 or higher
• USB Wired headset
• Steady wired internet connection
