Job Description Summary

Position: Call Center Specialist

The Call Center Specialist is responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality customer service to both internal staff and external patients. This role involves actively managing each call by taking ownership to enhance the customer experience and foster relationships. The specialist will listen attentively to patient requests and respond appropriately, including scheduling appointments, transmitting messages electronically to the clinical team, and answering medication refill questions. Exemplifying the highest level of customer service with a focus on efficiency and quality is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proficient data entry skills and knowledge of insurance billing
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Striving to maintain and improve job-specific competencies
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Compensation and Hours ๐Ÿ’ผ

  • Current pay rate: $21.00 per hour
  • This is a part-time position
  • Full-time training is required
  • Hours are scheduled in Eastern Standard Time

Qualifications

Required Skills and Education

  • Bilingual proficiency in English & Spanish
  • Associate's Degree OR Medical Assistant Certification + 1 year of experience
  • Experience in a call center or busy phone system environment
  • Experience with electronic appointment scheduling
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities
  • Proven multi-tasking capability
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are a plus
  • Remote workers must reside and work within the United States (excluding certain territories)
  • Reliable, high-speed internet access is mandatory for remote work
